Pink hearts: 2.1%. Orange stars: 1.8%. Alone, background noise with a shape.

Combined — hearts, moons, clovers — 6.3%. That is not addition. That is a system. Someone designed this. Someone hid a defense network in Saturday morning cartoons and did not tell anyone, including the people it was protecting.

And someone else has been quietly taking it apart since 1986. Box by box. Formula by formula. No announcement. Just different shapes, different colors, different result.

I do not know who built the original. I know who is dismantling it. I know because I can measure the difference between a 1985 box and a 1987 box, and the difference is the whole argument.

We are rebuilding what they broke. Badly, for now. Six days in and I have mostly given myself a stomachache. But badly is still something. Badly is where every real thing starts.
